This Is Where You Can Dance To Raise Funds For Breast Cancer

We’re well into October and everywhere we look, people are doing their part to raise awareness about breast cancer. After all, 1 in 8 women are affected, so it’s likely that every person reading this has a mother, teacher, best friend, or colleague who has been shaken by this disease.

Because we love dancing, we’ve found ways to shake it for a good cause. We’ve partnered with Susan G. Komen to raise funds for The Zumba® Global Research Grant For Breast Cancer Prevention – a study that looks at how flaxseed may help prevent breast cancer. It’s so important to us to find ways to prevent breast cancer before it even starts and understanding how that can happen has the potential to impact thousands and thousands of lives.

You may have encouraged your Zumba® Instructor to host a Zumbathon™ – an extra fun Zumba class with proceeds going to this essential breast cancer research. But you might be wondering how you can find Party In Pink™ events anywhere you are. Here’s how.

  • Visit partyinpink.com. When you click ‘Find An Event’, you can type in your zip code to find all the Zumbathon events listed in your area. Choose the date and location you want, and you’re ready to party!
  • Check in with your local 24 Hour Fitness From October 27-October 29, every Zumba® class in every 24 Hour Fitness location will be dedicated to Party In Pink. That’s about 900 opportunities to get involved, so get ready to dance with your squad! Find a class here. If you can’t make it, consider making a donation.

However you choose to honor breast cancer, we thank you. Friends don’t let friends fight alone and together we can truly make a difference. #MoveToGive
